We had some wonderful friends staying with us during this time and they attended the conference as well! Mrs. Ludy stirred up some really good and deep conversation during that weekend!
NOTE : Many of the following pictures are a little blurry which I much apologise for. And some have not been turned the right way so ya kinda have to look at them with your head tilted a little. Thank you for your understanding. : ) : P
First we hit the weekend off with a Valentines Day party!
We had fruit, chicken salad, cranberry salad, tea, and chocolate!
Momma did a great job decorating! (Have to tilt your head a little with this one.:)
At the conference there were so many sweet friends to see and visit!
Tamma and Alyssa....lovely sisters!
Emma and Lilly....more lovely sisters!!!
Elizabeth and Jenna....my lovely sisters in Christ!!!
Craft time was great fun! We made prayer books and recipe cards!
The food was very fun and tasty!
Sweet + silly = Joelle!
Like I said the food was very tasty! : P
The fellowship and laughter was priceless!
Mother and Daughters.
Mother and Daughter.
Then there was a lovely tea! I did not really get any good pics. here. :( But the memories are there! : )
(Homemade chocolate cake....yum!)
So, all in all it was a delightful weekend!
Here are a few things that stood out to me that Mrs. Ludy talked about.
1- Making the Lord your first love. Making Him your ALL in ALL. Making the Lord the true prince of your life.
2- Three ways to make Christ your first Love.
(1) Give Him the best hours of your day.
(2) Lay down Idols/other lovers. = Anything that distracts you from the Lord.
(3) Becoming one of the few. = To be set apart.
3- About prayer. Don't pray for selfish things. Don't ever give up praying!
4- Giving God the pen to your life and let Him wright the script of your life!
And this was just a few of the richness that was shared!
Please leave a comment! I would love to hear what ya'll think!
