Thank you Momma and Poppa!

To God be the Glory!

4th of July!

 Hello every one!
I am so sorry that I have not done a post in a long time!  Summer sure has me jumping!

A very happy (and very late) 4th of July to you all!

What we did to celebrate this wonderful day was to invite lots of friends over for fellowship, ice cream, games, and fireworks!  The county fireworks go off right across the street from were we live!  It's truly a huge blessing!

There was much laughter and games coming from this blanket!

                                                  Lovely fellowship with great friends!

And such fun games!  This I jumped into was called Knot!

                                                        Friends teaching new games.

I wonder when those fireworks are going to start?

And soon the sky was filled with the light of fireworks!  And about a minute later God started His own fireworks!  It started to rain like Noah's flood and thunder and lighting like it was the great judgment day!

Many ran for their car or for our house.  Where they were safe and dry and could still kinda sorta see the fireworks!   It was such fun and very very wet!

Here are some pictures that I got right before the down pour.

Well, it was fun even with the rain!

Ya'll have a blessed day!

A light in the Darkness.

There are times in life were it's dark, cold, and hard to see the light.

Things happen and we don't understand why they have to happen.   In this economy many people are losing their jobs and bills are hard to pay.  And even the price of food is getting higher.  Also the gas for our cars has gotten high.

But things like food, gas, jobs, and such are things that will all pass away.  They are not lasting.
I'm not saying that these things are not important.  I'm just saying that our hope's should not lean on a job or whatever.

Our hope should be in the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.  He is the light, our light in this world of darkness.  Storms of life will try to worry or depress us.  But opening His word where it says in the
Bible in the book of Isaiah chapter 41 verse 10

"Fear not for I am with you.  Do not be afraid for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and give you help, I will hope you up with My Righteous right hand!"

Be comforted dear readers.  Our God is with us.  And in His own word.  "Even to the ends of the earth!"

Trust in Him!  He IS our light.

                                                                       Iwo Jima.

Elijah at 9 years old feels the realty of the soldiers that gave there lives for our country.

We made a quick stop at Gettysburg.  That was neat being amongst even more USA history.

And the lovely country side of P.A. was stunningly green!

These critters are SO cute that you almost can't eat them......almost! :)

And this....this is a life size chocolate Bambi!!!  Way cool!

Next is the Sights and Sounds theater.  Where we saw the play Joseph.  Which was by the way SO great and amazing!  If you every go at all to the state P.A. you must go and see one of these plays that are really and truly amazing!

Next the Creation Museum in K.Y.   That was WAY COOL!  Again if you are ever in that state at all you must stop and go to this museum that gives honor and glory to God!
Jacob, Emma, Elijah, and Me (Sarah) :)
Now, I am going to show some of the pictures of the dinosaurs that were saw there.  You may not know this about me but I LOVE dinosaurs!  So this was really cool for me!   And of there was LOTS more there to see then I show here!

                                                           It's going to eat me!

That one is going to eat me too!

Elijah got to sit on one of theses things.

                                                      Emma liked the T-Rex!

                                                           Elijah says 'AHGGGG!!!"

Emma liked this one two!  (this was in the Garden of Eden)

And to finish off this post here are some pictures that look like.....well......

I thought this one looked like a dragon!

And this one looked like turtle....kinda. : )

Anyhow, that finishes up our family vacation!   We had a really great time!  And got to see some of God's  blessing that He has given our country.  And some of His cool creation!
