Three things I'm thankful for!
Being thankful is so important! It can make a hard day better when you start to think about what God has done for you and your family! Life can be hard and dark at times. BUT GOD, is faithful through all seasons of life!
1: I am so thankful for my Savior, that He is with us and teaching us through out all seasons of life! Think about life with out Him!
2: (now I'm for real about this!) I'm thankful for indoor pluming! Think about life with out it! LOL!
3: And I'm thankful for.....chocolate! You ladys know what I am talking about! Think about life with out it!
Please, comment and say at least 3 things you are thankful for!

TAG!
I have been taged by Mrs. Amy! http://asnipofgoodness.blogspot.com/
OK...here it goes!
1. If you could be any bird, what kind would you be? ---- A Terradactal! Oh yeah! : P (well, I think it's a bird!!!)
2. What is the best way you have found to make new friends? ----I think just to be myself and being truly interested in the other person.
3. If you were assured of success, what would you do? ---- Travel the world....Europe first! :)
4. What 'sayings' did the most impactful male roll model in your life say?(father, grandfather, brother, friend)
-----I would have to say when my Poppa gave me my purety ring and told me this. "Sarah, I love you and I'm going to put this ring on your finger....then one day.....I'm going to take it off and another man will put another ring on your finger." That was so sweet and I will remember if always!
5. What is the best way you have found to make someone smile? By telling fun/funny storys about life! : D (there are lots of funny storys to go around!) : P
6. What makes you feel pretty?----Um, I think when my family (especially my Momma and Poppa) tell me I am!
7. If they were to make a movie of your life, what star should play you? Um....maybe Anna Popplewell. My Momma said Audry Hepburn. : )
8. What do you collect? Old coins, books, and good movies!
9. Have you ever wished to change your first name, and if so what would you change it to? I really like my name...but if I were to change it I would have to say that......maybe the name Lucy. But I'm not sure! ; )
Thanks Mrs. Amy! This was fun!!!!!

Panda Crazy!
Pandas! I love them! They are sooo cute and cuddly looking that when ever I see them I just want to give them a great big hug! (not that giving a hug to one would really work out very well. LOL!)
Not so long ago my sweet sister Emma and her friend Autumn made some tasty cupcakes......panda style!
Using Oreos, raisins, pretzels, and lots of frosting and I don't know what all else, the girls made these adorable little bears!
It's a whole family of panda bears!!!!!
You girls did such a great job! And they were really yummy too! They did not last long! lol! : P

Cats are a source of great cuteness, trouble, and laughter! Here are a few pics. that I hope will put a smile of your face!
Evil Emmperess Lucy!
"Sarah...you are not my owner but it is I....who.....own you!" (use Darth Vader voice)
Is that a cat or a rug?
"We may be on the same couch but that does NOT mean that i have to LOOK at her!"
"Now will you give me some milk.....please???"
Did ya smile? :-)

Mother Daughter Conference.
Last month me and my mom and my little sister had the wonderful opportunity to go a Mother Daughter Conference! I had never heard of the speaker Lesly Ludy before this conference and I thought out of the three mother daughter conference that I had attended that she was the best speaker out of the three! Every time Mrs. Ludy spoke and in each session she was constantly terning the glory back to God! Not about how she succeeded but how God has succeeded! She was such an encouragement to mothers and daughters alike!
We had some wonderful friends staying with us during this time and they attended the conference as well! Mrs. Ludy stirred up some really good and deep conversation during that weekend!
NOTE : Many of the following pictures are a little blurry which I much apologise for. And some have not been turned the right way so ya kinda have to look at them with your head tilted a little. Thank you for your understanding. : ) : P
First we hit the weekend off with a Valentines Day party!
We had fruit, chicken salad, cranberry salad, tea, and chocolate!
Momma did a great job decorating! (Have to tilt your head a little with this one.:)
At the conference there were so many sweet friends to see and visit!
Tamma and Alyssa....lovely sisters!
Emma and Lilly....more lovely sisters!!!
Elizabeth and Jenna....my lovely sisters in Christ!!!
Craft time was great fun! We made prayer books and recipe cards!
The food was very fun and tasty!
Sweet + silly = Joelle!
Like I said the food was very tasty! : P
The fellowship and laughter was priceless!
Mother and Daughters.
Then there was a lovely tea! I did not really get any good pics. here. :( But the memories are there! : )
(Homemade chocolate cake....yum!)
So, all in all it was a delightful weekend!
Here are a few things that stood out to me that Mrs. Ludy talked about.
1- Making the Lord your first love. Making Him your ALL in ALL. Making the Lord the true prince of your life.
2- Three ways to make Christ your first Love.
(1) Give Him the best hours of your day.
(2) Lay down Idols/other lovers. = Anything that distracts you from the Lord.
(3) Becoming one of the few. = To be set apart.
3- About prayer. Don't pray for selfish things. Don't ever give up praying!
4- Giving God the pen to your life and let Him wright the script of your life!
And this was just a few of the richness that was shared!
Please leave a comment! I would love to hear what ya'll think!

Happy Thankgiving to one and all!
A very Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!!
This is such a wonderful day to be truly thankful for all that God has blessed us with! And just to think back on why we have such a Holiday and the history behind it. Those people that traveled for weeks on end to have religious freedom in a new country and that they had such faith in their Lord and Savior....it truly boggles my mind to think about it!
Being thankful is so good for your heart and mind! Even if your thankful for the simplest of things like...toothpaste, your favorite blanket, hot tea, (or coffee) and inside pluming! (This list can go on and on!!)
Thank you Lord for everything that you have given us! Thank you for our freedom in this country, and for family and friends, and thank you for dying on that cross for us and rising again on the 3rd day!
Lord you have given us EVERYTHING we need and SO much more! Thank you!
What are some of the things that you are thankful for today?

Sick yet Thankful!
Today I awoke with a sore throat and all around grumpiness! (yes, there are time when I get grumpy :P )
I thought I should be thinking of more things I am thankful for so here are three more!
1. Hot, healing tea.
2. Mommas to love me even when I'm a turkey and don't feel well.
3. I'm thankful that God has blessed me with the good health that I do have. Sure, I'm not feeling 100% right now. But God is SO good and I am not terminally sick or anything serious!
Thank you Lord!

Where I have been and what I have been up to.
Hello Everyone!
I recently got back from a visit with my grandmother and great grandmother in T.N. My grandmother had fallen and broke her ankle in six places! So, my family and I went there to help cook, clean, shop, and what ever else she needed us to do! My family stayed one day and I ended up staying a whole week!
I had lots of fun helping keep house and cook! And it was very good experience for me to be cooking in some one else's kitchen (something I had never really done before) and using cleaning tools that I had rarely used before!
And it was lots of fun just spending time with my Grandmothers! One night we got out a really old video camera and was able to watch the end of one old home movies that has been filmed long ago! And I got to see my mom for a moment as a very little girl! It was so sweet!
And the Tennessee mountains were SO lovely! From my Grandmother's houses you can see in the far distance the mountains, so big and glorious, I simply marveled at them and their Creator!
Here are a few pictures from my trip.
Get well flowers for my grandmother.
Here are some views from my Great Grandmothers back porch.
Me having a peaceful, thoughtful, time to myself.
The old camera! That thing was so hard to make work! But so much fun!
My Great Grandmother's hands, precious!
AND..... from time to time we have been baby-sitting some really wonderful, cute, fun children! We ALL have had such fun with them!
2 year old Tobiah playing with some of his favorite toys we have...horses!
Elijah and 5 year old Josiah playing a game.
6 year old Joelle and Elijah.
3 year old Crosby having a nice wrestling game with Emma
Cutie pies!
Sweet little Crosby!
Funny face time!!!!!
With this last picture Joelle did her best to take one of all of us at the house.....but as you can see no one wanted to have their picture taken! But it turned out kinda cute anyhow!
So, there you have it. Where I have been and what I have been up to!
It's been busy....but it's been great fun!
